We all love superfoods and their wonderful health benefits but just how do we get them into our diet?
Here is a delightful peach smoothie with the amazing health boosting algae Spirulina.
If adding Spirulina alone to a peach smoothie isn’t amazing enough, were going to add the wonderfully nutritious and super fun chia seeds to the smoothie to give it real body and depth.
Chia seeds must be soaked in water for at least one hour before use.
If you don’t soak your chia seeds they will cause digestive problems.
Chia seeds soak up moisture in the body and can cause dehydration of the gut wall, ALWAYS soak your chia seeds!!
When used properly chia seeds are one of the most invigorating and energising superfoods you can eat. They also taste of virtually nothing so grab some chia seeds and get the peach smoothie party started.
- 3 peaches, washed and stoned
- 1 apple, washed, cored and quatered
- 1 tsp of soaked chia seeds
- 1/2 a tsp of spirulina
- 1/4 cup Mineral water
